Job Type:  Sales Associate

Full-time or Part-time

Full Time: 35-40 hours per week

Part Time: Up to 29 hours per week

Essential Functions of this Position

• Provides an excellent customer experience within the store by offering great service, a clean and well stocked store, and accurate transaction handling
  • Consistently operates a cash register with zero to minimal errors to include cash and credit card transactions
  • Ensures all product is stocked on sales floor and replenishes shelf stock when necessary
  • Keeps store clean and organized during shift
• Consistently arrives on time for scheduled shift and maintains zero to minimal absences
• Maintains a high level of motivation during shift to ensure all tasks and duties are completed
• Enjoys conversing with customers on a regular basis
• Communicates well with Management and other co-workers

• Cash register and cash handling experience is a must! Please ensure to include work history detailing this on your application. If you do not have it, this position is not for you and your application will not be considered.
• Reliability and regular attendance is extremely important
• Can abide by state and federal laws governing the sale of age-controlled products to minors

Successful Candidates will have the following characteristics:

• Experience working in customer service and/or retail industry, a plus.
• Experience working with beer, liquor and/or wine, a plus.
• Experience selling in a retail environment, a plus.
• Has a reputation for giving great service to guests and co-workers.
• Can handle multiple tasks at one time
• Has good problem-solving skills
• Has strong interpersonal skills
• Is able to work independently and as a member of a team
• Communicate professionally in person and on the phone
• Can maintain high energy during the entire shift

Job Level:

• Able to frequently lift 40lbs or less
• Able to occasionally lift 60lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours)
• Able to navigate in small spaces such as walk-in coolers and stock rooms
• Able to bend at the knees repetitiously
• Able to walk briskly
• Able to perform basic math functions without assistance
• Able to read and write
• Able to pass basic hearing and vision tests with or without corrective aides
