What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Administrator position at Brown Distributing Company Austin, TX?
The Sales Administrator will play a key role in assisting the Sales Manager and Sales Team in accomplishing the goals and objectives of Brown Distributing! This position will act as the primary support in running reports and developing presentations for the Sales Manager, as well as managing and tracking sales team incentives, bonuses, and objectives.
1. Accurately prepare and forward all reports required by Anheuser-Busch to the Sales Manager and in a timely manner.
2. Tracking and measuring sales team incentives, point sheet objectives and pay for performance objectives
3. Responsible for facilitation of Team route supplies ensuring expenditures are reasonable in an effort to secure market success. Communicate projected orders to our Sales Manager for approval.
4. Responsible for full management of Team Brown’s Sales bonus program, including building point sheet objectives in Encompass monthly.
5. Responsible accurate and timely documentation of Team Incentives for performance and payments with weekly updates and for the purpose of supplier billbacks.
6. Responsible for assisting the Sales Manager with the annual assessments by gathering and maintaining necessary data, the master presentation, and all related documentation in an organized manner.
7. Responsible for creating Encompass surveys and related reports for Sales Team Management as needed
8. Provide general administrative duties supporting the Sales Manager and Sales Team not listed above
· 2-4 years of experience in an administrative role that emphasizes preparing reports and presentations is preferred
· Highly adaptable and comfortable with learning and exploring new software and technology tools
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), with a strong emphasis on strong Excel skills
· Experience with Encompass ERP or similar inventory/sales management software is a plus
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
· Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports, emails, and presentations
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, especially when handling data and preparing presentations
