OVERVIEW
The Part Specialist helps manage parts operations within the service center and provide support to the outside sales team by interacting with new and existing customers to maintain a high-level of satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Parts Operations
- Professionally handles incoming requests from customers and outside sales team to ensure that issues are resolved promptly and thoroughly.
- Develops, communicates, manages and monitors effective parts department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Maintains an accurate and effective parts inventory control system that includes a continuous and annual physical inventory and proper counter procedures.
- Submits all parts warranty and return claims within the required time frame to receive maximum credit.
- Creates purchase orders for drop shipments, rush and special orders into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Creates and maintains stock replenishment orders for specific product lines.
- Maintains retail shop, which may involve restocking shelves and modifying store layout in collaboration with marketing department to improve product visibility.
Sales Support
- Manages requests and provides support to the outside sales team
- Processes and expedites customer parts and sales orders in conjunction with outside sales team.
- Creates, maintains and verifies parts quotes, sales and service orders.
- Supports outside sales team with fulfillment of equipment quotes.
- Develops strong communication and/or relationships with vendors and manufacturers.
- Oversees freight logistics with equipment delivery for service and sales-related matters.
- Captures accurate and complete information in the ERP.
- Communicates to outside sales team with opportunities and/or issues deserving additional attention.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Committed to excellent customer service.
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize in a self-directed environment.
- Team-player mentality.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge.
- Service-minded and mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
