Description
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to oversee the engineering activities across multiple disciplines for a major project within our global business unit. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating engineering assignments while ensuring that technical responsibilities are met. The Engineering Supervisor will be instrumental in interpreting, organizing, executing, and managing all engineering tasks related to the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead engineering teams across various disciplines, ensuring that all project objectives are met.
- Plan and direct engineering activities, including design, development, and implementation, while maintaining adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and documentation.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of engineering work through regular audits and inspections.
- Manage and resolve engineering issues and challenges as they arise during the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout the project.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline) from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
- Extensive experience in project design engineering, with a strong background in supervising engineering teams.
- Progressive work experience in relevant engineering fields, including startup, field engineering, or plant operations, particularly in large industrial plants, utilities, process plants, or engineering/construction firms.
- Experience in architectural design or an appropriate engineering discipline is highly desirable.
