Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Engineering Supervisor to oversee and manage engineering activities across multiple disciplines within one or more significant projects in our global business unit. The Senior Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating engineering assignments, while ensuring technical accuracy and efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams on one or more projects, ensuring all project objectives are achieved.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate engineering activities, including design, development, and implementation, while adhering to project timelines and budgets.
- Interpret, organize, and execute engineering assignments, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to facilitate successful project execution.
- Provide technical leadership and support to engineering teams, fostering innovation and best practices.
- Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and related documentation.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of engineering work.
- Address and resolve engineering challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout all project phases.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related discipline) from an accredited college or university.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 12 years of progressive work experience in engineering, with a strong emphasis on project design and supervision.
- Extensive experience in engineering fields such as startup, field engineering, or plant operations, particularly within large industrial plants, utilities, process plants, or engineering/construction firms.
- Background in architectural design or a relevant engineering discipline is highly preferred.
- Skills:
- Proven leadership and team management abilities, with experience overseeing large and complex engineering projects.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively.
