What You Can Expect
Strategic Direction and Account/Partner Management (50%)
- Brown-Forman Portfolio contact to lead overall account and partner strategy, communication, goal setting, and target tracking. Ensure a high level of collaboration and coordination with all key stakeholders.
- Leads Joint Business Planning process and Brown-Forman Portfolio Strategy with Account Buying Teams and partner leadership. Ensures Brown-Forman's strategy is in alignment with key customer strategies, plans, and goals.
- Partners with distributor eCommerce account stakeholders to develop annual operating plans, business routines, and execution expectations.
- Collaborate on pricing, programming, new-item launches, in-stock tracking and other key initiatives as it relates to B2C eCommerce accounts & partners.
- Lead exploration and vetting of new B2C partners ensuring Brown-Forman is aligned with the right partners to accelerate our business. Develop criteria for adding new national B2C accounts and partners.
- Leads Strategy, ideation, and planning for B2C eCommerce accounts and partners.
- Directs eCommerce analyst regarding establishing programming metrics, completing post-program analysis, and providing support documents for customer and partner meetings.
- Leads strategy around the monitoring and measurement of account-level performance for KPIs.
- Utilize post-promo analysis, shopper trends, insights, IRI and Nielsen to understand category, retailer, and partner opportunities. Implement learnings as part of B2C eCommerce accounts and partners strategy.
- Utilize media reporting and digital shelf performance to drive strategy and continued brand performance and optimization across B2C eCommerce accounts and partners.
- Communicate with key leadership stakeholders (Brown-Forman, Distributor and Account) on fiscal year strategy, progress towards established goals, customer and partner opportunity overview, and support needed to ensure success.
- Communicate best practices and work to optimize the overall communication process and sharing of account/partner tools and resources.
- Ensure commercial leads have the tools they need throughout the year to drive and amplify our investments at the account and market level.
- First point of contact for eCommerce Team for all accounts and partners in scope.
- Provide feedback to key leadership stakeholders regarding planning, programming, content and competitive intelligence.
- Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of sales experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods or Beverage Alcohol industry, ideally with omni-channel expertise or 10 years sales experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods or Beverage Alcohol industry, ideally with omni-channel expertise.
- Experience in customer and retailer management, preferably with national accounts and/or chains, driving successful partnerships and growth initiatives.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders across functions and teams, as a team player who prioritizes the overall business needs of Brown-Forman, with a positive attitude, growth mindset, and the ability to work through ambiguity.
- Strategic skills with a proven ability to implement national programs, negotiate strategies across accounts and partners, and drive growth through synergies. Experience in executing and enhancing program performance with multiple stakeholders, along with expertise in managing financial analyses and budgets.
- Systems Proficiency i.e. Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and/or other business operations software.
- Strong understanding of digital and eCommerce success metrics i.e. iROAS, NTB sales, eCommerce penetration percentage, etc.
- Experience working with 3rd Party Marketplaces and Digital First Retailers i.e. DoorDash, Instacart, Uber Eats, gopuff, etc.
