- hat You Can Expect :
- Leadership :
- Lead the Texas chain business strategy and manage the execution of Brown-Forman chain business plans with distributors.
- Train and motivate the Brown-Forman Texas chain team including leading a Chain Market Manager.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Region Chain Manager, National and Regional Account Managers, Finance, Brand Teams, and Field Marketing Managers.
- Monitor and measure chain program performance.
- Partner with finance to manage and monitor scan discounting funding against plan.
- Ensure all programs are implemented and executed according to the priority calendar and monthly customer chain planners.
- Distributor Management :
- Hold regular sales meetings with distributor chain leadership and local account executives to align on goals, measure progress, manage incentives, and ensure proper execution of all Brown-Forman programming. Lead chain tertile planning and monthly meetings with distributor executives to strategically ensure all sales goals are met.
- Regularly work the marketplace to understand market factors and key competitor information.
- Manage account budgets related to pricing and promotion activities (i.e., discounting / POS).
- Customer Management :
- Lead sales in assigned regional accounts for Texas, developing and implementing customer-focused initiatives that enhance Brown-Forman and customer profitability. Conduct performance reviews with distributors and accounts to ensure success.
- Manage account budgets related to pricing and promotional activities (i.e., scan / discount / POS).
- What You Bring to the Table :
- Experience : Seasoned sales professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the beverage alcohol industry with demonstrated success meeting key metrics. Experience with National Accounts / Chains is a plus.
- Leadership : Excellent manager and developer of people, committed to providing regular, constructive feedback. Strong coaching skills with the ability to objectively assess skills and potential, and build effective, results-producing teams across functions and partners.
- Action-Oriented and Organized : Responds effectively to business issues and opportunities while being highly organized and capable of meeting multiple deadlines and managing various projects.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); able to travel up to 30% (car and air); capable of lifting up to 30 pounds; flexible to work weekends and nights for brand activations and marketing initiatives; must have a valid state drivers license.
