Meaningful Work From Day One
As the site leader for our warehouse operations location in Midway, KY. You will coordinate and supervise a team of truck drivers and warehouse operators to efficiently manage the department, handling over 110K barrels annually. You will maintain an inventory of over 550,000 barrels across nine maturation warehouses and support the department's growth. Responsibilities include coordinating the receipt and movement of barrels from Brown-Forman and Woodford Reserve Distilleries, managing SAP entries, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company regulations. You will collaborate with the Controller, Accountant, and TTB Specialist for quality audits and reporting, and oversee contractors and maintenance personnel to ensure warehouse and equipment upkeep.

What You Can Expect
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and fellow Supervisors to ensure timely delivery and return of trailers for both new and aged barrels.
- Oversee truck and trailer movements and schedule truck drivers to ensure timely internal deliveries across all Woodford Reserve locations.
- Monitor contractor activities, Manage partnerships with 3rd Party transportation companies for on-time shipment deliveries.
- Maintain a fleet of tractors, flatbeds, conestoga trailers, racked trailers, and fork trucks.
- Support warehouse expansion by partnering with General Construction Contractors and Corporate Engineering.
- Partner with R&D for barrel yield studies and projects, and coordinate with the Maintenance Team to ensure efficient warehouse operations and optimal heat cycling.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment, support the team with daily tasks, and approve employee time cards and time off requests in Workday.
- Create and communicate daily work schedules, update standard operating procedures, and develop job-specific skills training.
- Collaborate with HR and finance for staffing needs, support Maintenance and Engineering Manager with work orders and preventive maintenance, and manage SAP transactions for whiskey storage and inventory removal.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in warehouse operations or logistics leadership role, with a proven track record of leading and motivating a team to achieve operational goals.
- Team management skills, including the ability to delegate tasks, provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive work environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, ensuring efficient workflow and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and Google Suite, enabling effective tracking of inventory and seamless communication.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, essential for coordinating with team members, other departments, and external partners.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to quickly address issues and implement effective solutions to maintain smooth operations.
- Analytical skills and mathematical aptitude, crucial for interpreting data, managing inventory levels, and optimizing warehouse operations.
- Ability to work flexible work schedule and overtime as needed including weekends and holidays
- Collaborate cross functionally and flex to other areas of operations as needed.
