In search of a Sales Delivery Driver for the Mississippi coastal area.
Job Summary: Deliver and sell a multiple line of drinks to convenient and grocery stores within a designated territory.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain customer relationships with owners, managers, and points of contacts at each customer location.
- Must be knowledgeable in the ordering process, product sales, and company systems.
- Responsible for in-store merchandising.
- Store inventory management and product ordering.
- Ensuring product freshness by rotating product and attending to expired product.
- Ensuring coolers and drink equipment are clean and maintained. Requesting service when needed.
- Achieve maximum sales and deliver total service to all accounts in the assigned area.
- Operate electronic ordering and tracking devices.
- Attain sales quotas and goals set by management.
- Drive a company vehicle and follow safety standards.
- Keep vehicle clean and report any maintenance issues.
Work Environment:
- Work in many different environments: outside, inside, stores, and coolers.
- Exposed to cold, hot, and rainy conditions.
Physical Demands:
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously and 60 lbs. intermittently.
- Able to push/pull a cart weighing up to 260 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a frequent basis.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Drive a vehicle and enter and exit the vehicle multiple times throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license and approved driving record.
- Obtain a Class D license upon hire.
- Sales experience a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers and managers.
