Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
• Assist with the organization of clean dishes and ensure proper storage practices are followed.
• Help with food preparation tasks as required by the kitchen staff.
• Support bussing efforts by clearing tables and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the establishment.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality settings is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including banquet and catering services, is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed within the kitchen setting.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and sanitation practices is beneficial.
