Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Operations Lead. This role combines the responsibilities of managing day-to-day office operations with leveraging data analytics to drive informed decision-making. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a passion for organization, efficiency, and data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analytics:
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to provide actionable insights and support strategic planning.
- Collaborate with teams to identify data needs and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Interpret and communicate findings to stakeholders, presenting data in a clear and compelling manner.
- Conduct market research, trend analysis, and forecasting to inform organizational strategies.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing best practices for data management and reporting.
- Prepare, reimagine and interpret business and financial reporting and forecasts
- Work with the executive team to develop SOPs
- Use data and ops tools to make decisions that optimize performance
- Understand all office systems and software to effectively analyze productivity and performance
- Research tools and services that would enable the firm to be more efficient
- Analyze the impact of new tools and services on our firm infrastructure
- Collaborate with finance, operations, marketing and executive team through all stages of project process implementation to ensure the highest level of efficiency and productivity
- Participate in problem solving activities (data gathering, root cause analysis and potential solutions)
Office Management:
- Oversee and manage daily office operations to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
- Coordinate office activities, schedules, and events, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and resolving issues.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance requests
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in onboarding/training new admins and managing current ones
- Assist with marketing needs as necessary (webinars, presentations, etc.)
- Coordination with office IT to ensure quality information services
- Management of office budget
- Ensure compliance with OSHA or other safety regulations
- Provide logistical support or administrative support for organizational expansion
- Enforcing building policies
- Schedule repairs and routine maintenance for the office
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in office management, data analytics, or a combination of both roles.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SQL).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach to challenges.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Preferred:
- MBA degree
Benefits and Compensation:
$75k-$95k adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors.
