Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Division : Endocrinology
We are looking for an Advanced Practice Provider who will provide the following services in our endocrinology practice. These services may be modified from time to time based upon the needs of the Division.
Responsibilities :
- Provide consultative diabetes care to hospitalized patients at Rhode Island Hospital. Availability to work 1 : 4 weekends. No evening on-call activity.
- Provide inpatient to outpatient transition care for patients with Diabetes in our Ambulatory Endocrine practice located at Chapman Street in Providence, RI - Brown University Health.
- Work alongside and with providers, staff and care team members to coordinate care
- Participate in medical education, quality improvement and research initiatives as determined by members of the division.
- Responsible for ensuring good communication with patient and consulting providers.
- Work with and be responsible to the Division Director, Endocrinology.
