Brown Motors is seeking a proactive and efficient Automotive Porter to facilitate our service and parts operations. The primary role of the porter is to manage the movement of vehicles and support both our service and parts departments. Responsibilities
Vehicle Management :
Move vehicles to and from the service department as required by technicians.
Organize and maintain vehicles on the lot, ensuring they are placed in designated areas for easy access and optimal presentation.
Customer Service :
Bring vehicles to the front of the dealership for customer pick-up upon checkout, ensuring each is clean and ready for handover.
Transport customers to and from their homes or other specified locations when their vehicles are being serviced.
Parts Delivery :
Deliver parts from the parts department to service technicians to support efficient service operations.
Facility Maintenance :
Keep the service shop and other work areas clean and organized to maintain a safe and professional environment.
General Support :
Assist with various tasks as requested by management, which may include helping with special projects or maintenance duties.
Requirement
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Licensing :
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Experience :
Prior experience in automotive service, customer service, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
Skills :
Proficiency in driving various types of vehicles, including manual and automatic transmissions.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
Capability to safely lift and maneuver heavy objects, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
