SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly motivated Healthcare Data Analyst with a strong focus on data transformation and visualization to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing healthcare data, creating meaningful visualizations, and providing data-driven insights to support decision-making and improve healthcare outcomes.

  • Analyze healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for data requirements and deliver actionable insights
  • Ensure data integrity and quality by performing routine checks and validations
  • Provide training and support to end-users on data tools and reports
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices


REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst Intern or Junior Analyst in Healthcare.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization
  • Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment


PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with healthcare data standards and regulations
  • Familiarity data visualization techniques to tell a story from complex data sets.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical analysis techniques.
  • Exposure to programming languages such as SAS, Python, or R.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Health Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance or Computer Science or equivalent knowledge/experience. Master’s a plus.


WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Hybrid work environment. Primarily remote work with some on-site work (on-site work to be determined). Conditions common to an office environment.


INDEPENDENT ACTION:

Performs work independently and applies own judgment on most analytical and technical issues.
