Duties and Responsibilities
Leading multiple trade disciplines, including Electrical, plumbing, mechanical, finishes, etc., subcontractors in field construction activities. Reviewing drawings, assisting with scope of work development, developing and following project schedules. Attending and leading client weekly progress meetings, coordinating and scheduling sub-contractors. Obtaining, submitting, and following up on material submittals and shop drawings. Performing site layout, reviewing sub-contractors for safe work practices, daily progress reports, and photo documentation of project activities. Assisting with quantity take offs for proposal development, tracking monthly sub-contractor hours, as-builts, and close-out documents. Approving sub-contractor payment applications.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements
Five years of current experience as a lead superintendent on commercial, educational, and/or government projects. Solid work history and overall working knowledge of various trades. Experienced in interior and exterior projects. College preferred but not required. Skilled in Microsoft Project, Adobe, Word, Excel. Prefer experience with e-Builder, Kahua, and/or other client document retention programs. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred. Proof of clean driving record required. Must be able to work on various projects simultaneously and work well with others, following the chain of command. Candidate will be drug screened.
