Logistics Clerk

Chemical plant located in Theodore, AL is currently seeking an experienced Logistics Clerk. The Clerk would be responsible for entering daily production, communicating status updates between production, laboratory, and logistics personnel.

Responsibilities :

  • Manually handles various materials.
  • Be able to respond quickly to identify and correct quality issues.
  • Coordinate between packaging warehouse, production plant, and logistics department to enter

and track material production.

  • Track and maintain inventory of finished goods and raw materials.
  • Coordinate logistic movements with on-site / off-site team.
  • Perform weekly and monthly inventory counts.
  • Store / track non-conforming materials inventory.
  • Maintain and file shipping documents.
  • Work with carriers, export coordinators, schedulers, and warehouse specialists assisting with

    • work orders and delivery methods.

    Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Great communication skills.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and create solutions.

    • Additional responsibilities not listed may be required.

  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening and physical.
  • Must be able to bass a background check.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Minimum high school education required.

    • Starting Pay : $21.91
