Position Overview :
The Project Accountant will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of assigned projects, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. This individual will collaborate closely with project managers, financial teams, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are financially on track and adhere to organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Financial Management :
- Maintain and track project budgets, ensuring that costs align with estimates and client contracts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for assigned projects.
- Monitor and report on project cash flow, ensuring proper invoicing and payments are made in a timely manner.
- Conduct cost analysis and identify potential financial risks for projects.
- Perform regular reconciliation of project-related accounts and expenses.
- Project Billing & Payments :
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely project invoices.
- Ensure project expenses are documented and processed in compliance with contract terms.
- Coordinate with management to resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Budgeting and Forecasting :
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project budgets and forecasts.
