What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Controls Coordinator position at Brown & Root?
POSITION DETAILS:
** POSITION WILL WORK ONSITE IN GEISMAR, LA **
- Coordinator will serve as liaison within client facility in Geismar, LA
- Coordinator will prepare and plan for outage jobs for the instrument and electrical department
- Obtain vendor quotes and review for purchase
- Execute requisitions to various vendors through SAP program
- Coordinate new projects between the project engineering department and the maintenance department
- Maintain outage budget as it relates to the I/E department
- Coordinates project activities
- Interact with Project Managers, Project Engineers and other project stakeholders
- Actively engage in safety culture and onsite safety guidelines

Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS:
** POSITION WILL WORK ONSITE IN GEISMAR, LA **
- High School Diploma Required
- College Degree Preferred
- Minimum (10) Years' experience in Engineering and/or Construction Coordination Role
- Experience working onsite in Petrochemical or Refinery facility
- Experience in Electrical/Instrumentation position
- Proficient utilizing MS Office Suite
- Experience utilizing SAP program (requisitions)
- Must be able to lift and carry up to (25) lbs.
- Must be able to conduct field trips to review project materials, equipment and engage with field personnel
- Work schedules may include extended work hours and include some weekend work
