We have a nationally recognized Retail Store Apprenticeship program with the U.S. Department of Labor. Once you join our program, you will experience a 2-3 year in-depth training process that prepares you to successfully run your own business. From learning how to sell footwear, to buying and merchandising the best shoes for your store, hiring and managing employees, marketing to your specific community, effectively managing store expenses, creating a business plan, and everything else in-between, you will learn it all and will have store operators and office staff support to lean on every step of the way.
Those who complete the in-store trainee/apprenticeship certification program will then have the opportunity to operate their own storefront. Every store owner becomes an investor in Brown’s Shoe Fit, owning a share of their store plus stock, and the opportunity to invest in more stores throughout twelve Midwest states.
