Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Representative to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach efforts.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to close sales effectively.
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance client satisfaction and increase revenue.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to develop strategies for territory sales growth.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
Experience
- Proven experience in technology sales or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong background in account management with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and close deals successfully.
- Experience in upselling products or services within existing accounts.
- Familiarity with business development strategies and direct/inside sales techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to travel throughout Central NY.
- Experience in Selling and/or Servicing Physical and Electronic security or other types of products to Financial Institutions or other Commercial Lines is preferred but not required.
