Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) : Read, scan, document and route incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail. Perform other clerical duties such as light filing, creating mailing labels, CMRRR, messenger and overnight courier forms, compose and type routine correspondence. Coordinate the completion of photocopy, fax, and messenger requests. Light reception work such as answering telephones as directed and as appropriate requiring discretion, coordinating / maintaining certain vendor delivery logs for incoming / outgoing mailings coordinating with legal teams when guests are expected. Communicating effectively with strong phone, email, messaging etiquette.
Qualification Requirements : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
Language skills : Ability to read and comprehend simple to complex instructions, short correspondence and memoranda; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to spell. Prepare and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Reasoning Ability : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Other skills and Abilities; Ability to type 45 wpm utilizing current word processing software; ability to use computer, photocopy, fax, and other equipment to complete documents; ability to establish and maintain cordial and courteous working relationships with co-workers, other firm employees, and outside contacts in a fast-paced demanding environment.
