This key position is with Brown Surgical Associates (BSA) which is one of Rhode Island’s largest multidisciplinary surgical groups and a founding member of BPI. Our 50 surgeons are recognized for their experience in highly specialized areas of surgery.

In this role, you will :
- Function as the Surgical Coordinator to Brown Surgical Associates with primary accountability to the Practice Manager and surgeons. Primary responsibility is to schedule surgical cases and procedures. Exceptional organizational and people skills are required. This position reports to the Practice Manager.
- The Surgical Coordinator works with physicians, secretarial and clinical staff to facilitate patient-centered care. Proficiency using computer software, electronic medical records, and practice management systems for surgical scheduling and appointment scheduling. Demonstrates an understanding of the organization, its policies and procedures related practice operations. Displays professionalism while addressing patient issues. Adheres to HIPAA guidelines.
