Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising dogs and other pets.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff or management.
- Assist with animal restraint during veterinary procedures or grooming sessions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and behaviors.
- Support the team in maintaining accurate records of animal care and treatment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns from pet owners in a friendly manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in animal handling or pet care is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of dog handling techniques and animal behavior is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform basic animal restraint techniques safely and humanely.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in veterinary settings or as a veterinary technician is a plus.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare is essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
