Schedule: Weekends only (Saturday & Sunday)
We are a well-established mixed animal practice in Monroe, GA, seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Veterinarian to join our team. This position offers the flexibility of working only on weekends, making it an ideal opportunity for those seeking work-life balance while still providing critical care to animals in need.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical and surgical care for a diverse range of animals, including cats, dogs, goats, pigs, cows, rabbits, birds, reptiles & more.
- Manage cases of trauma, illness, and emergencies with the support of a collaborative team.
- Communicate with clients regarding treatment plans, prognosis, and follow-up care.
- Work closely with our dedicated veterinary staff to ensure high-quality patient care and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- DVM from an accredited veterinary school
- Current Georgia veterinary license
- Emergency or critical care experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Passion for working with both small and large animals.
