The company offers overnight delivery of products throughout the U.S. in addition to operating a retail store in Portland, Maine.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Local Driver / Production Support position at Browne Trading Company in Portland, ME.

The role involves tasks such as truck driving, transportation of goods, and providing support for production activities.

Qualifications

• Effective Communication and Customer Service skills
• Experience with trucks and transportation
• Ability to work efficiently in a production support role
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities

• Daily packing of seafood products according to how the product is to be shipped to the customer
• Ensuring that the products being shipped meet order specifications : size, quality, quantity, etc.
• Assistance in ensuring that the proper documentation is obtained / prepared on shipments.
• Driving company vehicles to make deliveries, local area pickups and other driving requirements
• Assisting in end of day sanitation, removing trash, keeping warehouse neat and organized
• Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the Production Manager
