QUALIFICATIONS
1. MUST COMMUNICATE AND WORK WELL WITH YOUR FELLOW EMPLOYEES, PATIENTS, CUSTOMERS AND OTHER HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS.
2. KNOWLEDGEABLE OF EQUIPMENT AND PRODUCT LINE AND WILLINGNESS TO LEARN NEW TECHNOLOGIES.
3. MAINTAIN CONFIDENTIALITY OF PATIENT FILES.
4. PARTICIPATE IN MONTHLY STAFF MEETINGS AND IN-SERVICES.
5. MAINTAIN A PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE AND ATTITUDE.
6. MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE.
7. HAVE BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF FUNDING SOURCES AS IT RELATES TO YOUR RESPECTIVE DEPARTMENT, SUCH AS, MEDICARE, MEDICAID AND PRIVATE INSURANCE, V.A., ETC.
8. MUST HAVE GOOD TELEPHONE SKILLS.
9. MUST BE DETAILED ORIENTED.
10. MUST BE ABLE TO PRIORITIZE VARIOUS TASKS.
11. MUST HAVE GOOD ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS.
12. MUST BE ABLE TO STAND/SIT FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME.
13. MUST RECEIVE 2 TB TESTS UPON HIRE.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. THE COMPLIANCE OFFICER IS RESPONSIBLE TO THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER.
2. ASSIST ALL NEW EMPLOYEES OBTAIN A SMOOTH START. ASSIST WITH GATHERING INFO FOR PERSONNEL FILES. ASSIST WITH INSURANCE PAPERS.
3. ASSIST IN / GENERATE EVALUATING NEW IDEAS FOR PROFITABLE BUSINESS.
4. ASSIST IN THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR OVERSEEING THAT ALL DEPARTMENTS STAY IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL CHAP REGULATORY GUIDELINES.
5. ASSIST IN KEEPING ALL EMPLOYEE/BUSINESS LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES UP TO DATE.
6. ASSIST WITH HUMAN RESOURCES DUTIES.
7. REVIEW INSURANCE COMPANY REGULATION CHANGES AND DISSEMINATE INFORMATION TO EACH DEPARTMENT.
8. KEEP THE EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK AND POLICY AND PROCEDURE MANUAL UP TO DATE.
8. ASSIST OTHER DEPARTMENTS AS NEEDED WITH SPECIAL PROJECTS.
8. OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED WHICH MAY INCLUDE UNCOMPENSATED ATTENDANCE AT FUNCTIONS DURING NON-BUSINESS HOURS.
IN ACCORDANCE WITH OSHA EXPOSURE GUIDELINES, PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT YOUR JOB IS A CATEGORY II POSITION, YOUR NORMAL WORK ROUTINE INVOLVES NO EXPOSURE TO BLOOD, BODY FLUIDS OR TISSUES, BUT EXPOSURE TO POTENTIAL EXPOSURE MAY BE REQUIRED AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT. APPROPRIATE PROTECTIVE MEASURES ARE READILY AVAILABLE TO EVERY EMPLOYEE.
