What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Aide position at Browns Valley Health Center?
Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to perform the day-to-day functions of the Laundry Department such as collecting, sorting, washing, folding, hanging and distributing clean garments to individuals receiving services and restocking linen closets. Also, observing laundry for mending or labeling needs and ensuring an adequate supply of clean linen is on hand at all times to meet the needs of the individuals' receiving services. This position will also work closing with the Maintenace director to complete small Maintenace task such as painting, deep cleaning, floor care.
Salary Range of $14.51/hour to $16.03/hour
Job Requirements:
- Must possess, at a minimum, an 8th grade education.
