Mowing Crew Technician

Brownsboro Lawn Care is now hiring for Mowing Crew Leaders. We are a locally owned company looking for experienced, energetic, self-starters, who can manage and lead a crew, while maintaining professionalism. We offer employees a competitive salary and are always looking for talent and skills to grow with our business. Earn $17 - $25 an hour depending on skills set and experience, 6 paid holidays, Overtime and Sign on Bonus. Ideal candidates must have:

• Must have a valid driver’s license;
• 1 Year Experience
• and/or Valid License for Applicator

High school diploma/GED;

• MUST HAVE 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training - please do not apply if you have no experience;
• Attention to detail;
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with supervisors and clients;
• Perform seasonal work such as mulching, planting, etc;
• Time management and organizational skills, including on-time attendance;

Responsibilities:

• Lead crews or work on job sites with minimal supervision;
• Be able to operate and maintain equipment such as, mowers, trimmers and blowers responsibly;
• Property clean up and debris removal;
• Perform daily truck and equipment handling before work and upon returning from work;
• Maintain vehicle and equipment through cleanliness, safety and general maintenance;
• Complete paperwork and reports related to jobs and be able to keep track of time on jobs;
• Assist in maintaining facility cleanliness;
• Oversee crew members under their authority;

• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed;

• Maintain work schedule as put forth by supervisor;

• Keep daily logs as to time spent and personnel on site;

• Maintain and keep time sheets for crew members under their authority;

• Keep supervisor updated on daily progress and equipment condition;

• Make requests to supervisor for materials and equipment;

• Review each job while in progress to ensure standards of quality and safety are being met;

• Be familiar with all relevant hand and power tools required;

• Maintain open, friendly customer communication;

• Expand customer base through continuous high-quality work and a friendly personal demeanor;

• Ensure all aspects of each job are completed to customer and company satisfaction.
