General Requirements
This position is repsonsible for serving food and drinks in a professional manner to the residents and guests of Brownsboro Park. All food service employees are responsible for the appropriate use of facility equipment and supplies to minimize loss, waste, and fraud.
Essential Duties and Task List
1. Serve 4-5 tables at each meal, as determined by management.
2. Complete knowledge of LMHD food and beverage preparation guidelines.
3. Able to transfer residents requests on a guest check for the kitchen.
4. Able to interact with residents, family members, and guests in a friendly/fast manner.
5. Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of kitchen and dining room.
6. Clear, clean, and reset tables to Brownsboro Park standards.
7. Treat all residents and guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed their expectations.
8. Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
9. Other duties as directed.

2. Is knowledgeable of resident rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity and well-being of all residents in a safe, secure environment.
3. Supports, cooperates with, and implements specific procedures and programs for:
a. Safety, including universal precautions and safe work practices, established fire/safety/disaster plans, risk management, and security, report and/or correct unsafe working conditions, equipment repair and maintenance needs.
b. Confidentiality of all data, including resident, employee and operations data.
c. Quality Assurance and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
d. Compliance with current law and policy to provide a work environment free from sexual harassment and all illegal and discriminatory behavior.
4. Supports and participates in respectful common teamwork:
a. Cooperates and works together with all co-workers; plan and complete job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment.
b. Uses tactful, appropriate communications in sensitive and emotional situations.
c. Follows up as appropriate with supervisor, co-workers or residents regarding reported complaints, problems and concerns.
d. Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.
e. Completes requirements for in-service training, acceptable attendance, uniform and dress codes including personal hygiene, and other work duties as assigned.
