Position Summary
Brownstein Group is seeking an ad agency strategist to work across established client business and to help drive agency growth. We’re looking for someone who is energized by the business of advertising, who is curious about people and what drives them to do what they do and who has a healthy respect and comfort level with research and data.
The ideal candidate is someone looking to build a career by building integrated campaigns for household-name brands. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to roll up their sleeves and learn from team members with experience working on Fortune 500 Companies and some of the world’s largest franchises.
Core Responsibilities
- Support strategy development on several key agency accounts, partnering closely with senior-level strategists and with account and creative partners
- Guide informed decision-making through primary and secondary research, social listening, primary observation and competitive analysis
- Adopt a “living brief” mindset, always building on your understanding of consumer audiences and the role our clients’ brands play (or could play) in their lives
- Bring firepower to our new business development via insights derived from agency research tools, fact-finding and observation
- Support the agency’s primary research efforts, from planning and development, fielding and reporting
- Maintain the agency’s core values and professional standards, bringing a positive contribution to our agency’s culture
Requirements
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in advertising, marketing insight and/or brand strategy
- Hands-on understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, media and digital marketing ecosystems and knowledge of the tools and platforms needed to navigate them.
- Familiarity and comfort with primary research (qual and quant) and 3rd-party research platforms such as Simmons/MRI, YouGov, Resonate and Brand Watch.
- Proficiency in delineating facts from observations and insights to help teams apply truths to imagine what could be
- Collaborative workstyle and winners-find-a-way attitude
- Strong writing skills and detail orientation
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
This position may require time in office buildings or outdoors
