The firm seeks a Marketing Operations Assistant to join our Marketing department. This role will work closely with the Marketing Operations Manager and members of our marketing team. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual, with well-developed critical thinking skills who can process, react to, and solve problems as they arise. In this role you will play a key role in supporting the efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing team. This role involves assisting with the execution of marketing strategies, maintaining marketing tools and systems, establishing data quality metrics, solving data quality issues, and ensuring seamless operational workflows.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducts ongoing maintenance of Client Relationship Management (CRM) firm data, including adding relevant contacts, improving data quality, merging duplicate records, monitoring email metrics, and compiling data to create reports
  • Identify data sources and research to ensure accuracy
  • Research and resolve conflicting information
  • Implement and follow data standards, processes and procedures
  • Communicate with end users to assist in validating information
  • Follow proper procedures in all general data cleansing projects
  • Use good judgment to determine correct information from research
  • Build and manage marketing lists, including working with attorneys to collect contacts
  • Build and manage dashboards and reporting
  • Build data queries and basic analytics of data
  • Respond to inquiries from our internal customers
  • Competitive Intelligence Research
  • Articulate and present progress, results and data analyses/learnings effectively to other marketing stakeholders
  • Provides basic graphic design support that includes formatting photos and working with Adobe Express templates
  • Supports the Alumni Program
  • Proofreads and edits marketing materials
  • Provides administrative support as it relates to major projects (reporting, follow-up, scheduling, etc.)


Required and Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing, research, data entry or a corporate environment is required
  • Experience in law firms or general knowledge of the legal field is a plus
  • CRM experience is a plus, but will train if all other requirements are met Exemplary focus, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to data quality
  • Ability to demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Self-starter and able to work well with individuals at all levels and across functions


Compensation and Benefits: Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck offers a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401k match, profit sharing, and vacation/sick/personal time off, in addition this role pays overtime for hours worked above 40 per week. Hybrid schedule offered. We are offering a wide range salary for this role as our salary will match up with the right level of experience the successful candidate possesses, ranging from $50,000 - $60,000.
