What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletic Trainer Pool 2024-2025 position at BROWNSVILLE ISD?
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree;
- Registered by the Texas Board of Athletic Trainers;
- Appropriate License for Athletic Trainer from the Texas Department of Health; and
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification, A.E.D. Certified, Concussion Certified.
Preferred:
- Valid Texas Teacher's Certification; and
- Minimum Basic E.M.T. Certification.
The role of the Athletic Trainer is to provide expertise and leadership relative to the Coordinator of the training and safety programs for the athletic departments in the district schools as required, in a manner consistent with Board Policy and consistent with statutes and standards of regulatory agencies.
