Job Opening: Order Puller/Delivery Driver – Garden Center (Full-Time)
Location: Brownswood Nursery, Inc., Johns Island, SC
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week), Some Saturdays Required
Compensation: Based on experience | Overtime available during peak seasons

Brownswood Nursery is Charleston’s largest nursery and design-build firm. In addition to our retail and wholesale Garden Center, we offer a complete line of services from growing to landscape design and installation to maintenance. We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and friendly individual to join our team as an Order Puller/Delivery Driver at our busy garden center. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is customer-focused, and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty.
Responsibilities:
- Load a 26' box truck with plant material for delivery to residential addresses and job sites
- Deliver plant material in a timely, professional, and courteous manner
- Pull sold plant material from sales fields and stage it in dedicated areas for delivery or customer pickup
- Assist customers with loading purchased plants and related items into their vehicles
- Support the sales team with daily tasks including merchandising, garden center upkeep, and basic plant care
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work and staging areas
Requirements:
- Valid South Carolina Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Must be comfortable driving a 26' box truck (CDL not required)
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and team player attitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Plant knowledge is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person
