Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sheet Metal Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal fabrication and installation, experience and knowledge in all types of roofing systems and demonstrate proficiency in various techniques and tools. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
· Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products according to specifications.
· Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation and handling of materials.
· Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and joining metal components.
· Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
· Prepping and organizing day-to-day activities.
· Managing schedules, crews, project requirements, contractors, safety officers, etc.
· Leading, teaching, and giving directions to crew.
· Keeping proper documentation as needed for each project, safety, employees, etc.
· Assign tasks to employees, supervise and coordinate the activities of employees
· Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
· Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
· Communicate all safety issues
· Provide Proper Protective Equipment (PPE)
· Report on the progress of the project to superiors
Skills
· Proficiency in heavy lifting techniques and physical stamina for demanding tasks.
· Ability to use hand tools effectively for building and assembly tasks.
· Familiarity with trim carpentry practices related to sheet metal installations.
· Knowledge of roofing systems and understanding of installation in its entirety
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Effective communication skills
· Experience supervising and coordinating the activities of sheet metal workers
· Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Pay: $23.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 70 per week
