CAD Modeler - CATIA (Sea-Doo)

We are looking for an CAD Modeler in our Design and Innovation team who will report to a Advanced Concepts Team Leader and work under the supervision of an Engineer. As a member of the BRP advanced concepts team, you will have the opportunity to work in the creative field of powersports vehicle architecture development supporting the SEA-DOO brand. In addition to being part of a dynamic and motivated team, you will have the opportunity to innovate and influence technical directions in the field of mobility.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Produce 2D technical drawings and their 3D models.
• Take part in component development and tracking prototype fabrication.
• Help a team of designers and engineers work through the problem-solving process.
• Develop and maintain Bill of Materials.
• Use internal systems to follow up on your projects and move them forward.
• Manage various systems according to set deadlines.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Required:

• 2 plus years of CAD Modeling experience in mechanical designs and architectures of advanced vehicles using Catia V5.
• Have a real aptitude for mechanics as well as good 3D visualization skills.
• Highly skilled in SmarTeam or similar.
• Location and in office expectations: Required to work onsite full time in the Palm Bay, FL office.

Preferred:

• Bachelors, Associates Degree or accredited vocational school training course certificate in a related field.
• Resourceful and can work independently.
• Optimistic and adaptable attitude working in an ambiguous environment.
• Curious with the ability to be creative and innovative.
• Strong communication skills working in a collaborative environment.
• Passion for powersports products.
