STS Systems Support is seeking a Facility Manager to support our ongoing mission in Washington D.C.
The Facility Manager shall perform the following duties:

The Facility Manager shall perform the following duties:
- Support the CDM Facility Management office with determining operating and maintenance requirements, forecasting material and manpower needs, organizing and directing program resources, preparing cost estimates, forecasting equipment needs, and managing work schedules and priorities.
- Assist with evaluating the facilities program effectiveness through inspections, budget controls, and management improvement studies.
- Managing and ensuring preventive and/or periodic maintenance is performed on HVAC systems at the Waples Mill Facility.
- Recommend operating and maintenance requirements, providing verbal and written findings, and forecasting material and government manpower needs.
- Preparing cost estimates using RSMeans, forecasting equipment needs and managing work schedules and priorities.
- Conduct maintenance program planning, including but not limited to evaluating the condition of facility components, such as roof, doors, locks and lights.
- Conduct grounds maintenance assessment’s to evaluate the condition of the grounds.
- Submitting maintenance/repair tickets through Jira Service Desk and tracking tickets on a daily basis through resolution and closure.
Requirements:
- Current TS/SCI Eligibility
- A minimum of five years of facility management experience
- Experience working with HVAC systems
- Familiar with Government policies and guidance pertaining to safety standards
- Ability to communicate effectively, in a clear and concise manner, both orally and in writing
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematic diagrams, and building plans as well as possess knowledge of how to maintain construction project files
- Proficient in the use of: Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Word processing programs, and Project Manager.
