What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Clerk III position at BRS?
Eagle Integrated Services (EIS) is searching for a qualified General Clerk III to support our contract with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission headquarters, located in Rockville, MD.
The General Clerk III will support the NRC Supply Room Inventory Operations.
Day to day supply inventory operations
Work shall be performed under technical direction of the COR who will issue general work assignments, controls flow of day-to-day work, explains major changes in procedures, provides additional specific instructions for new assignments. The supply room shall be staffed Monday through 4:15 Eastern time (except Federal Holidays or during building closures). The place of performance will be at 11555 Rockville Pike Rockville MD 21774, Building One White Flint North.
Inventory and storage management functions at the warehouse and NRC HQ.
The contractor shall perform inventory management functions to include ensuring inventory in on hand, avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
Recycling and restocking duties for materials that come to the NRC HQ OWFN loading dock.
The contractor shall organize, sort, and manage inventory located in supply bins at NRC HQ lobby and loading deck.
The contractor shall recycle or dispose of non-NRC tagged inventory, as directed by the NRC COR
Restock inventory/materials that are delivered to the NRC OWFN HQ loading dock
The contractor shall coordinate with the COR on transfer of inventory from warehouse to NRC facilities.
Material Handling
The contractor shall perform physical tasks to receive, transport, pull/store material, make deliveries and ship items using approved methods and procedures. Duties may involve one or more of the following: Material Handling, Receiving or Shipping. May be required to manually load or unload vehicles, trucks, or other transportation equipment; unpacking, placing items in proper storage locations; transporting goods and shipping assets. Perform duties in accordance with system guidance and policy.
As directed, performs a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Work involves most of the following: Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting, and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
Maintenance of inventory documents/reports
The contractor shall update and maintain the NRC inventory log and provide to the NRC COR upon request. This log may include stock log, reordering schedule, material receipt log, and damaged material documentation.
High school diploma or equivalency; 3-years’ experience in an office environment.
