Project Coordinator/Pre-Construction estimator

We are a Luxury Custom Home Builder based in Rockledge/Melbourne area seeking a skilled Project Coordinator/Pre-Construction estimator to join our team. An individual who is reliable, has excellent organization and communication, and enjoys working with a team to meet deadlines.

Pre-Construction duties will include:

• Conducting site inspections and pre-planning the construction process
• Designing and reviewing construction plans
• Build proposals to include estimating/budgeting, scheduling, and subcontracting
• Has regular contact with the client to obtain the more detailed information required to assure that engineering decisions on project/implementation meet client operational needs and are in line with the contractual scope of work
• Keep all interested parties informed of project planning, start date, completion date and work progress.
• Documents all changes in scope, see that the client understands the consequent changes in cost and time and that the client authorizes the changes, then coordinates all changes between the field, client, Engineering.
• Submits documents to local authorities for code compliance review and obtains the various permits required.
• Complete material and equipment receiving
• Provide support to the Project Superintendent
• Meets with client management periodically during a project’s term to resolve issues and at a project’s completion to obtain final client approvals.
• Maintain working knowledge of all site plans (civil, landscaping, engineering, MEPS etc) to ensure project objectives are met.
• Update as-built drawings, prepare final close out documents
