What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Server position at Bruce Hills Golf Course?
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Monitor and ensure customer satisfaction, addressing any concerns or complaints
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of sales techniques and retail math for handling payments and making change
- Familiarity with restaurant or catering operations is a plus
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic knowledge of brewing techniques and different types of alcoholic beverages
- Strong math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating bills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Must be at least 18 years old
