Your Role as a Project Engineer
As a Project Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of dynamic, high-impact projects in the electrical industry. You'll collaborate with industry experts, deliver innovative solutions, and contribute to our mission of excellence and safety.
What You'll Do:
- Prioritize Safety: Ensure jobsite safety is maintained by conducting regular site safety audits.
- Own the Details: Review and submit shop drawings, track project submittals, and build construction project schedules.
- Stay on Track: Monitor and maintain installed quantities to keep projects on schedule.
- Drive Efficiency: Maintain accurate cost reports, assist with estimating functions, and support financial accuracy.
- Enhance Communication: Generate and manage Requests for Information (RFI) to ensure project clarity and alignment.
- Build Relationships: Engage with customers to strengthen connections and ensure satisfaction.
- Field Support: Collaborate with field teams to address design and customer requirements.
- Ensure Compliance: Verify contract adherence and take on additional tasks as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent field experience).
- Industry Knowledge: 1-2 years of experience in Project Engineering, specifically in the electrical sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with experience in Primavera P6, Viewpoint, AutoCAD, Navis, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or ConEst preferred.
- Electrical Expertise: Understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and lean construction techniques.
- Collaboration & Adaptability: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a constantly changing environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Results-Oriented: Self-starter with the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
