Your Role as a Project Engineer
As a Project Engineer, you'll be at the heart of dynamic, high-impact projects in the electrical industry, working alongside industry experts who value your skills and ambition. You'll contribute to delivering "Powerful Solutions" through engaging and meaningful responsibilities.
What You'll Do:
- Own the Details: Review and submit shop drawings, track project submittals, and develop construction schedules.
- Ensure Jobsite Excellence: Conduct site safety audits, maintain installed quantities, and support field teams with design and customer requirements.
- Drive Efficiency: Assist with estimating, maintain accurate cost reports, and generate RFIs to keep projects running smoothly.
- Collaborate & Build Relationships: Work directly with customers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver quality results.
- Innovate & Solve Problems: Support project execution through lean construction techniques and electrical system expertise.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Industry Knowledge: 1-3 years of experience in Project Engineering or Construction Management, preferably in electrical contracting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in Primavera P6, Viewpoint, AutoCAD, Navis, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or ConEst preferred.
- Electrical Expertise: Technical knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and construction methods (T&D, Substation, Commercial & Industrial Electric experience is a plus).
- Strong Communication & Problem-Solving: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
