Position Overview: We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Department Shipper/Receiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient handling of parts shipments, inventory management, and ensuring the timely and accurate receipt and delivery of parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and experience in warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.
• Check quantity and condition of goods received against invoices and purchase orders.
• Check number and unit cost as well as total billing for charges against proper records.
• Specify parts accurately.
• Take inventory, maintain records of goods received, and keep perpetual inventory controls.
• Maintain the clean and professional appearance of counter, work area, and stockroom.
• Interact with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
• Process core returns, parts warranties, and parts returns as necessary.
• Answer telephone and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner in accordance with Incoming Telephone Call (ITC) standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers and vendors via phone, in-person, or email.
• Assist customers by answering questions, introducing them to an estimator, or providing other assistance as requested in a quick, friendly, and professional manner in accordance with Initial Customer Contact (ICC) process.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring parts are properly labeled and stored.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring that parts are securely packaged and shipped on time.
• Coordinate with the parts department to ensure inventory levels are sufficient.
• Accurately record all incoming and outgoing shipments in the system.
• Handle returns and exchanges, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed.
• Assist with stock replenishment and order fulfillment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework is a plus).
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of inventory management software (preferred).
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

Pay Range: $16.66 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
