Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Supervise production line(s) operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
2. Coordinate and adjust start-ups, shut downs, and change-over’s to ensure a smooth production flow.
3. Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and goals.
4. Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.
5. Update and maintain production records for accurate reporting.
6. Follow and enforce company policies and procedures with special attention to safety and food safety.
7. Supervise production resources, including staffing level, to support operations.
8. Identify, analyze and solve problems.
9. Recommend ways to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and safety of the production department.
10. Recommend ways to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and safety of operations.
11. Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
12. Train team members and temporary associates; evaluate their performance; recommend disciplinary actions, improvement plans, and promotions.
13. Act and supervise in a way that enhances respect, support, and cooperation within the production department and its relationship to other departments.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to four years related manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery.
3. Basic computer abilities.
4. Basic arithmetic.
5. Read, write and speak English. (Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.)

3. Must be capable of speaking, hearing, tasting and smelling
