Job Scope:
As a member of the BRC Trim Team, the Fine Trimmer will assist the trim department to ensure only high-quality products are being sent to the customer. This position requires visual examination of rubber products, trimming off excess flash with a variety of tools and methods. This position is the last person to see the end product before shipment to our customer.
Responsibilities:
- Fine Trim rubber parts with tools such as utility blades and X-Acto knives
- Quality inspects rubber parts for defects and other cosmetic issues
- Ensure finished parts conform to specifications and quality standards
- Read work orders to determine product specifications or material requirements
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Move products, materials, or equipment between work areas using carts
- Count and/or weight and bundle items for shipping
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Job Skills:
- Attention to detail with a sense of urgency
- Multi-tasking and shifting from one job to the next with confidence
- Independent thinking with minimal supervision
- Ability to plan ahead
- Read and follow written work instructions
Shift differential for working evenings. Extra shift differential for working nights.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
