We are a leader in the industry, manufacturing superconducting wire used in healthcare and scientific instrumentation, particularly in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) magnets. These technologies contribute to significant projects like the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, Switzerland.
This position involves maintaining and cleaning dies and other tools from production, ensuring timely turnaround for production needs.
Hours: 3:00pm - 11:30pm, with training on the 1st shift (7:00am - 3:30pm).
Responsibilities:
- Accurate documentation and record keeping on production operator logs.
- Maintenance and tracking of die room inventory using computer software or Excel spreadsheets and 6S tools to prevent runouts and defective items.
- Compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
- Tracking die failures to determine root cause and improve die design and drawing processes.
- Ensuring safe working practices are followed.
- Participation in Bruker OST's on-boarding efforts through activities supporting the training of others.
- Active engagement with quality and process engineers to assist and implement operational changes in compliance with established MSI standards.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math and computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret procedures and calibrated equipment.
- Ability to read and understand all safety operating procedures and use all safety features and equipment.
