Responsibilities
- Showcasing the full capabilities of the product line, incl. its accessories, software, and solutions, by performing or assisting in FT-NMR BT spectrometer demonstrations (on-site, in house and virtual/ remote).
- Generating comprehensible customer reports and presentations of results and analyses as required.
- Creation of user documentation and training material and performing or assisting in customer training and support (on-site, in house and virtual/ remote) to familiarize customers with product usage.
- Performing and assisting in the production of marketing and sales materials. Creating videos, virtual lectures, and other documentation.
- Representation of the company and promotion of the FT-NMR BT portfolio at conferences, trade-shows, seminars, and webinars, including preparation of presentations and posters as required.
- Scientific and technical support of Sales and After Sales teams.
- Supporting Product Management with customer requirement specification and product validation during Product Lifecycle Management and customer feedback for products and solutions already available on the market.
- Creating and maintaining dedicated FT-NMR BT protocols, workflows, and optimized application sequences. Transfer and optimization of existing (high field) NMR methods to low field.
- Participating in the development of new methods. Collaboration on customer projects (publication opportunities exist).
- Performing troubleshooting to maintain demo lab instruments in peak performing condition.
- Keeping up to date with the latest knowledge applicable to high and low field NMR spectroscopy.
- Collaborating with the global expansion team as well as other stakeholders (e.g. Product Managers, R&D, Sales).
Qualifications
- Master (>5 years NMR experience) or PhD (> 2 years NMR experience) in natural sciences, preferably chemistry, chemical engineering, electrochemistry or environmental science.
- Maintenance of a valid passport with flexibility for global travel
- May be required to pass security clearance investigation
