What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building/Grounds Maintenance position at Brundage Mountain Resort?
Looking for reliable and dedicated workers to join our Brundage Facilities team. This position is a general maintenance tech that will work with our Facilities department managers and teams within Base Area Operations. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a variety of resort facilities learning new tasks or utilizing already established skills seasonally or year-round! The ideal candidate is a problem-solver and will be able to take direction then prioritize and self-manage a variety of tasks. In addition to maintenance tasks, this role supports winter snow removal, parking and cleaning efforts across all Brundage facilities.
Available Positions: Part-time; Full-time; Year-round; variable hours
Expectations & Qualifications:
- Ability to use a variety of tools including power tools, hand tools, snowblowers etc.
- Ensure job site’s quality, safety, and appearance meet standards throughout the day
- Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks
- Inspect Brundage property for unexpected problems and proactively work on preventive care
- Guarantee that projects are promptly accomplished and in line with appropriate specifications
- Maintain pleasant demeanor with guests and coworkers, be willing to provide assistance and answer questions at any time
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to kneel, bend, carry, walk, stoop, climb, and lift items up to 50 pounds, in addition to possessing manual skill & dexterity
- Must be a team player! Work may include different Brundage locations and facility department tasks
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and pass a liability insurance driving history inquiry.
