The successful applicant will lead processes in the Health and Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with government laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Auditing processes and facilities to ensure Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) compliance
- Providing safety input for production and maintenance planning
- Conducting hazard evaluations, risk assessments, and initiating corrective actions
- Managing MSHA/OSHA/State Mine Inspector visits and evaluating field activities
- Inspecting work areas and addressing identified non-conformities
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience in health and safety or related fields
- High school diploma or equivalent and relevant certifications
- Strong communication and leadership skills
