The Opportunity :
A Planning Technician III is responsible for developing detailed work plans and packages for maintenance and repair activities on mechanical equipment within a facility. This role ensures efficient and safe execution of work while minimizing downtime and optimizing production processes. The planner collaborates with various teams to effectively plan and schedule work orders, providing training and support for SAP work orders and procurement requests.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop detailed work plans and packages for maintenance and repair activities on mechanical equipment.
- Identify required resources, safety procedures, task sequences, material needs, and estimated durations.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance technicians, and engineering teams to effectively plan and schedule work orders.
- Provide training and support for SAP work orders, procurement requests, and invoicing.
- Coordinate all major repair activity through the use of SAP.
- Support special projects as deemed necessary by the Maintenance Superintendent.
