What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Structural Engineer position at Brunel?
Brunel is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for a contract role based in Denver, Colorado with travel to Canada and Arizona. Willing to consider non-local candidates on a 4x1 rotation.
Supervise, Manage and provide technical guidance to support both Civil and Structural design focusing on copper concentrator plants (crushers, mills, flotation cells, conveyors, and tailings thickeners, etc).
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee structural and civil design, site supervision, and geotechnical analysis.
- Provide technical guidance, project management, and problem-solving.
- Support construction, review designs, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage projects and serve as a civil and structural subject matter expert (SME) on large / complex site planning / construction, expansion or modifications.
- Field support : Provide technical support during construction, including site visits, addressing field changes and liaising with contractors to ensure integrity of the structural designs.
